1. ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION.

1. This contest is sponsored by CampTrip.com.
2. This contest is open to anyone 16yrs or older who has anything to write about camping, 
3. Contestants are responsible for compliance with applicable laws in jurisdictions where they reside.
4. By entering this contest, entrants automatically agree to be bound by the terms of this contest as listed in this Contest Terms and Conditions.
5. Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions listed in this Contest Terms and Conditions will result in disqualification of any submitted entries, and the nullification of contestant privileges to further participate in the contest.

2. SUBMISSIONS OF ENTRIES AND DEADLINES.

1. The Contest will be opened for entry submissions starting September 9, 2010 until the competition has received 100 valid camping entries.
2. To be eligible to participate, entrants must be 16years of age or older and submit their entry through the website. Submitting an article requires the entrants full name and valid e-mail address so that CampTrip.com may contact the entrant regarding the article or if the entrant has won one of the Visa gift card prizes. CampTrip.com will not give this information to any other sources.
3. Incomplete entry forms will be deemed disqualified and will be rejected. CampTrip.com is not responsible for any lost, misdirected or delayed entries. There is also no responsibility or liability for any potential entrant's inability to access the official Contest submission function for contest entry. Entries can only be accepted via the official Contest website http://competition.camptrip.com/.
4. Each submission must be the property of the entrant, or entrant must have proof of permission from the owner/author of the property to distribute the content.
5. Each contestant may submit only two photographs.
6. Only one prize per contestant will be awarded.
7. By submitting any entry, entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this document without limitation. Entries must not include content that are unlawful, harmful, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, the determination of which is up to the sole discretion of CampTrip.com.

3. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION.

1. Judging. All choosen contest entries will be displayed on our website for visitors to view. Once we have received 100 entries CampTrip.com will review and determine the three best entries and award the winners with one of three Visa gift cards (USD) first prize $100, second prize $75 and third prize $25.
2. Selection Criteria. Entries will be selected based on criteria including but not limited to: i) completeness of entry, ii) editorial judgment of entry, iii) effective use of information and/or relativity, iv) quality of entry, v) uniqueness/originality of entry, vi) appropriateness of theme, and vii) overall interest of entry.
3. Notification of Winners. Winners of prizes shall be notified immediately via email following the announcement of the winners on the CampTrip.com website. CampTrip.com will e-mail the three winners and ask for a valid address so that CampTrip.com may distribute their Visa gift card prize. CampTrip.com will only use the address for means of sending the prize.

4. PRIZES

1. First prize. The Contest grand prize winner will win a Visa gift card of $100 (USD).
2. Second prize. The Contest second prize winner will win a Visa gift card of $75 (USD).
3. Third prize. The Contest third prize winner will win a Visa gift card of $25 (USD)
4. Notification of Winners. Winners of prizes shall be notified immediately via email following the announcement of the winners on the CampTrip.com website. CampTrip.com will e-mail the three winners and ask for a valid address so that CampTrip.com may distribute their Visa gift card prize. CampTrip.com will only use the address for means of sending the prize.
5. CampTrip.com will choose 100 of the best entries submitted and post them on CampTrip.com. Once 100 entries have been received CampTrip will award the three best entrants with either a first, second or third prize visa gift card (USD). In the event any entry is deemed ineligible or disqualified, CampTrip.com may award the prizes to alternate entries as it deems suitable. In any event that the prize cannot be awarded, CampTrip.com may withdraw the winner's title, and all unclaimed prize will be forfeited and CampTrip.com may select an alternate winner.
6. In accepting the prizes, the contest winners acknowledge that CampTrip.com may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using the prize.

5. CONTEST SUBMISSION AGREEMENT.

1. Original Works. All entries must be the original creations of the entrants, unless written authorization from the intellectual property owner is provided at the time of entry submission. Contestants agree to indemnify and hold harmless CampTrip.com from any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property infringement claim or liability with regard to their submissions.
2. Submitted Entries. By submitting any entry for the Contest, the contest grants CampTrip.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right for the duration of the contest to display the submitted entry in association with this contest on its websites, for commercial, business, and trade purposes, as well as for advertising and/or publicity purposes. Additionally, contestants hereby agree and acknowledge that CampTrip.com may, in its sole discretion, display the submitted entries, in whole or in part, distorted in character or form, on, but not limited to, the CampTrip.com website.
3. Submitted Content. Contestants may NOT submit offensive, pornographic, obscene, criminal or adult themes, links or images. CampTrip.com reserve the rights to decide what constitutes deletion, suspension, or banning within the contest.

6. GENERAL

1. Releases. All entrants, as a condition of entry into the Contest, agree to release CampTrip.com staff from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property associated or sustained in connection with participation in any and all aspects of the Contest, including accessing the Contest, submitting an entry, ownership or use of any prize. Each prize winner bears all risk of loss or damage to his or her applicable prize after it has been delivered.
2. Prize Responsibility. All prize winners will be responsible for any and all federal, state and/or local taxes resulting from acceptance of any and all prizes associated with this Contest. Prize winner cannot assign or transfer the prize to another person. No prize substitution or changes are allowed. All prizes are subject to availability. If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of CampTrip.com, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value may be awarded.
3. Limitation of Liability. Neither CampTrip.com, its staff assume any responsibility or liability for (i) any incorrect or inaccurate entry form information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (ii) any authorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entry forms or submissions at any point in the operation of this Contest; (iii) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the submission of an entry or the operation of the Contest; (iv) inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet; or (v) any injury or loss of participants which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Contest or download of any materials in the Contest.
4. Disputes. You agree that you will submit any dispute you may have with regard the conduct of the Contest, interpretation of the Rules, and/or awarding of prizes to CampTrip.com, whose decision regarding such dispute shall be binding and final. 5. Winners. All voted decisions are final.
6. Winner Announcement. A list of prize winners will be available on the CampTrip.com website. All prize winners will be further contacted by CampTrip.com via email for the claiming of their prizes.
7. Age of Participation. Any participant under the age of 16 is not eligible to participate in this CampTrip.com contest.
8. Terms. CampTrip.com reserves the right to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate this Contest at any time without prior notice, and without further obligation or liability to you. CampTrip.com also reserves the right to change this Terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
